We elected to Open our gardens under the National Gardens Scheme (NGS) in 2024 on Sunday 23rd June from 1 pm to 6 pm.  The charge will be £7.50 per adult which covers all the gardens flagged on the right as open in 2024 (children go free).  There will be ten gardens open (tbc) plus the Church with its Flower Festival.  Teas and cakes will be available from the Village Hall and from Grange Farm.  Free parking will be available.  Several of the houses may have plants for sale.

The proceeds from the Open Day goes to NGS charities including MacMillan, Marie Curie, Hospice UK (see below) and to local charities.  In 2023 £858.27  went to the NGS and £534.31 went to local four village charities plus a sum allocated to plant a tree for the late Queen's Platnum Jubilee.

OUR GARDENERS ARE WORKING HARD ON THEIR GARDENS AND WE WILL ADD NEW PICTURES.  FOLLOW THE LINKS ON THE RIGHT FOR THE INDIVIDUAL GARDENS

Brize Norton is a Domesday Village in the Cotswolds not far from Burford and Bampton (of Downton Abbey fame).

We have a Norman Church with  interesting features including our crusader knight and  RAF Brize Norton squadron standards. There is a flower festival in the church on the day we open our gardens.

One of our Open Gardens has a listed Dovecote.

We offer a pleasant afternoon for visitors with tea and cakes provided by the church in the Elder Bank Hall and Grange Farm.   There are also two pubs.

Local attractions include Crocodiles of the World.
