Note regarding war graves in Brize Norton Churchyard The 1914-18 War Grave of Pte F Lock, Grenadier Guards .7 November 1917 is a private memorial and is on the right of the path nr the entrance gate. The 1939/45 war grave of Cpl D E Price RASC. 23 April 1941, a commissioned headstone is on the S E corner The one of  Captain Thomas William Powell M.C.Tank Corps. November 1918 is not an official war grave and he is buried in a family plot (near the gate). If the letters C.H. are included in the details of a grave this denotes an official Commission headstone. Thus only Pte Lock and Cpl Price are our only War graves.
