Stone Cottage - Brize Norton

Gravelled drive with small raised patio and raised border shaded by a silver birch path leading to enclosed cottage garden. Herbaceous borders, lawn partially edged by espaliered fruit trees leading to patio. New patio seating area added. There is a gate that takes you into the main garden.

Brize Norton is a Domesday Village in the Cotswolds not far from Burford and Bampton (of Downton Abbey fame).

Brize Norton is a Domesday Village in the Cotswolds not far from Burford and Bampton (of Downton Abbey fame).

We have a Norman Church with  interesting features including our crusader knight and  RAF Brize Norton squadron standards. There is a flower festival in the church on the day we open our gardens.

One of our Open Gardens has a listed Dovecote. 

We offer a pleasant afternoon for visitors with tea and cakes provided by the church in the Elder Bank Hall and Grange Farm.   There are also two pubs.

Local attractions include Crocodiles of the World.
