The Chapel - Brize Norton

A former primitive Methodist Chapel, beautifully refurbished and converted into a family home by Messrs Paul and Chris Faulkner who grew up in the village. The gardens have more recently been opened up as part of a wider redevelopment of property on Chapel Hill, with Chris and Jayne spending the first planting season trying to re-establish growth of existing plants.

Brize Norton is a Domesday Village in the Cotswolds not far from Burford and Bampton (of Downton Abbey fame).

We have a Norman Church with  interesting features including our crusader knight and  RAF Brize Norton squadron standards. There is a flower festival in the church on the day we open our gardens.

One of our Open Gardens has a listed Dovecote.

We offer a pleasant afternoon for visitors with tea and cakes provided by the church in the Elder Bank Hall and Grange Farm.   There are also two pubs.

Local attractions include Crocodiles of the World.
