BRIZE NORTON OPEN GARDENS
Sunday 24th June 2018 from 1 - 6 pm

We have elected to Open our gardens under the National Gardens Scheme (NGS) in 2018 on Sunday 24th June from 1 pm to 6 pm.  The charge will be 5 per adult which covers all the gardens listed on the right (children go free).  There will be 11 gardens open plus the Church with its Flower Festival.  Teas and cakes will be available from the Village Hall and from Grange Farm.  Free parking is available.  Several of the houses will have plants for sale.

The proceeds from the Open Day goes to NGS charities and to local charities.  In 2017 564.60 went to the NGS (see here for details) and 435.55 went to local village charities.

Brize Norton is a Domesday Village in the Cotswolds not far from Burford and Bampton (of Downton Abbey fame).

We have a Norman Church with many interesting features including our crusader knight and  links with RAF Brize Norton. There is a flower festival in the church on the day we open our gardens.

One of our Open Gardens has a listed Dove Cote.

We offer a pleasant afternoon for visitors with tea and cakes provided by the WI and Grange Farm.   There are also two hostelries.

Local attractions include the Crocodile World.
